Terms of service
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Simple Santa Draw is a free, non-profit website for running Secret Santa gift draws, run as a hobby project by Raivis Kiselis in Latvia. By using it you agree to these terms. They're short, so please read them.
The service
Organizers create a draw, people join with a code, pick their name and spin a wheel to find out who they're buying a gift for. It's free: no fees, no ads, no paid features.
Using it fairly
- Only add people to a draw who know about it and are happy to take part.
- Pick your own name when you join. The site trusts people to do this; please don't spoil the surprise for others.
- Organizers are responsible for their draw: who's in it, what the message says, and when to use "Reveal who got whom".
- Don't use the site for anything illegal or harmful, to send spam, or to try to break or overload it.
- You need to be at least 13, or use the site with a parent or another adult.
Your content
What you type in (draw names, messages, participant names) stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people in your draw, because that's how the draw works. We can remove content or accounts that break these terms.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself. You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing raiviskiselis02@gmail.com.
No guarantees
We work hard to keep Simple Santa Draw running, but it's a free hobby project provided "as is". We can't promise it will always be available, that every email will arrive, or that it will never have bugs, and we may change or stop the service. It's a good idea to note down who you're buying for.
The gift exchange itself happens between you and your group. We're not part of it, and the budget is just what your organizer suggested.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for indirect losses or for anything that happens between participants. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited.
Privacy
How we handle your data is explained in our privacy policy.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protections of your own country's consumer law.
Changes and contact
If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions? Email raiviskiselis02@gmail.com.
